First Rehearsal - Monday, Dec. 18th 3:30-7** Important Dates First Rehearsal - Monday, Dec. 18th 3:30-7** Performances - March 16, 17, 18 & 23, 24, 25 No conflicts after - Feb. 28th Blumey Awards - May 20th Mandatory Blumey Rehearsals - May 7th-18th*****

-Pit will have rehearsals as scheduled by Mrs. Turner -Cast will have rehearsals most days after school and many Saturdays over the next three months. -Crew will come on board in February but may have intermittent workdays and are encouraged to come Saturdays for building -Pit will have rehearsals as scheduled by Mrs. Turner

Rehearsal Times Music Rehearsal 5:00-7:00 Choreography TBD (Late Jan/Early Feb) 3:00-5:00 or 7:00-9:00 Blocking (beginning in February) 3:00-6:00 Saturdays - Keep These Open - Jan. 27, 30, Feb. 3, 10, 17, 24, March 3, 10 Detailed Rehearsal Schedules Ready by Monday, December 18th. These will change based off who is needed/called and should be finalized before we return from break. They will be put on my website, tweeted, and on the AKHunchback Facebook Page! Crew Schedule Determined By Mr. Gabbard Pit Schedule Determined by Mrs. Turner Now… Let’s talk about this show and how it is DIFFERENT and why it is Cast the way it is.

Ensemble Vedette VS. Chœur Ensemble You are ALL very important to this production. Vedette - Meaning “Featured” Vedette will be used on the stage in secondary roles, dance/crowd scenes, and in narration solos. Choeur - Meaning “Choir” Choeur will be on stage for the ENTIRE show. They will sing in all ensemble numbers. (More than 75% of the show) There will be some Choeur members who may be featured in some ways. This will be determined during the rehearsal process. (Playing instruments, Special skills that can add to the show, Etc.) We will assign SECTION LEADERS in the Choeur Ensemble.

Fees Cast Participation $100.00 Crew Participation $30.00 Checks Written to AK Fine Arts Due by Monday (if possible) Financial Need ? - Email briane.seagroves@cms.k12.nc.us

Policies Excessive Absences, Grades lower than a C, Discipline Issues can be cause for dismissal from the cast, pit, or crew. Students must be in attendance ½ day to rehearse or PERFORM Students have turned in conflicts already. All other conflicts must be reported by Friday. They can have 2 unexcused absences and will then be excused from participation
