As of this month, the tax credits are still available for all manufacturers. For vehicles acquired after December 31, 2009, the credit is equal to $2,500 plus, for a vehicle which draws propulsion energy from a battery with at least 5 kilowatt hours of capacity, $417, plus an additional $417 for each kilowatt hour of battery capacity in excess of 5 kilowatt hours. The total amount of the credit allowed for a vehicle is limited to $7,500.

Business Infrastructure Incentives California Capital Access Program (CalPAC) Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVCS) Financing Program Offers loans to small businesses installing charging stations Provides a rebate that covers up to 10-15% of the loan amount Loans can be used with other financial incentive to further reduce costs http://treasurer.ca.gov/cpcfa/calcap/evcs/index.asp The CalPAC Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment Financing Program offers loans from banks and other financial institutions to support small businesses installing charging stations. This loan will cover the cost of: The purchase and acquisition of charging station(s) Labor to install charging stations Costs to operate, service, and maintain charging stations In addition to the loan, your business will also receive a rebate that covers 10-15% of your loan, once your loan is paid off of after 48 months of paying the loan.
