Strength Training Mrs. Kriesel

Welcome to strength training Are you in the right place? Schedule changes, etc… Pay close attention to meeting areas on the daily agenda which will be posted on the whiteboard next to the girls’ locker room Introductions… MRS. KRIESEL! Policies and Procedures

Tips for Success in strength training • Be on time and dressed out for the activity every day. You must be performing the posted warm-up 5 min. after the tardy bell or you will be considered tardy. Wear This Not That P.E..pptx You need a ½-1” 3-prong binder with 5 dividers for this class (MEGA POINTS!). Please have this by Friday 8/18/17!!! • Eat a healthy breakfast daily (banana, yogurt, toast, bagel, protein bar/shake, bacon, sausage, eggs, etc)!!!! You will be burning a lot of calories and proper energy is going to be needed for the remainder of the day! On the same note, don’t overstuff yourself at lunch. I recommend lots of fruits and veggies and plenty of water throughout the day! • Bring a water bottle to class and keep it with you all day. Continue drinking a minimum of 8-10 cups daily or more depending on your activity level.

Tips for Success in strength training Continued Bring a towel: it is advised that you shower off or at least wipe down after class. You will be working up a sweat, and you have other classes to attend throughout the day (be considerate of others). • Energy drinks of any kind will not be tolerated! If the instructor sees a student drinking an energy drink prior to class they will not be allowed to participate and will not receive points for the day (nor can these be made up)! This is for the safety of the individual student. RESPECT IS MY #1 RULE! Treat others as you wish to be treated. Being disrespectful to anyone will be grounds for removal from the class.

School rules are “Life Rules”. When you have a job you are expected to: Be there everyday. Be on time Be productive Dress appropriately Be courteous to people around you. Give your best effort each day. If you don’t…

In school, you are asked to do the same. Don’t get fired In school, you are asked to do the same. Don’t get fired! Make the most of school and practice for life… After all, it’s what you make of it!! WORK HARD! PLAY HARD! HAVE FUN! GET FIT!
