Materials and Procedures Mango wood Lighter Pen an paper Knife Gas Timer Procedures Cut six pieces of wood about 12 inches long each. Soak 3 pieces of wood in gas Burn the three pieces soaked in gas individually, record combustion time. Burn the three pieces not soaked in gas, record combustion time. Compare results

Conclusion In the end my hypothesis was correct, though the wood did not fully burn it did burn way faster. The experiment was fun :D

Materials and Procedures Timer Gas Wood Gloves IPod for video Match Procedures First I put on my gloves. Secondly I put gas on the wood. Third of all I get a match and throw it one the gas or plain wood and see how long it takes to ignite.

Conclusion My hypothesis was right, if I put more wood and more gas the fire will go on longer.
