Volunteer time and fundraising efforts are essential parts of the Booster Club – the band relies heavily on the Booster Club and we need your help!

Parent Support Students need: Equipment Transportation Performing arts students depend on parent support for student success. Band students are building life skills in self-discipline, teamwork and leadership that will benefit them long after they finish high school. Students need: Equipment Transportation Positive Support

Parent Support Equipment Transportation Positive Support Instruments, shirts, shoes, gloves, etc Transportation Timely drop off and pick up Please don’t wait for your student to call for pick up Know call times Carpooling available Positive Support Encourage Give your student a time and place to practice Attend as many of their events as possible

Parent Support How You Can Help: Participate in Fundraisers, such as Cardinals Concessions Volunteer at rehearsals, games and events Attend games and events Attend monthly meetings Receive email newsletters

Parent Support Benefits of being involved: Research shows that when parents are involved in their children’s education, the students perform better in school, have a more positive attitude and are more likely to continue their education. Being involved benefits all the students, not just your own. Interacting with your child's classmates can make them feel cared-for even if their parents can't be around. You’ll know what’s going on - get the communication first hand Get to know your child’s friends and their parents Helps build the music program We have fun!!

Marching Band Schedule www.KellisMarchingCorps.com/Calendar Full ensemble rehearsals every Monday evenings 6-9 Sectionals Tuesdays/Wednesdays / Saturdays Football Games Every Friday night from August 26 until at least October 28 (possibly end of November if playoffs/finals) Festivals Most Saturdays in October, Tuesday October 18 we are hosting a festival here- all hands on deck!

Volunteer Opportunities www.KellisMarchingCorps.com/Volunteer SignUpGenius.com – search Boosters@KellisMarchingCorps.com Every week we rely on our parent volunteers to ensure successful performances.  A lot of work goes on behind the scenes to make it all happen.  There are many ways to get involved – we need several parents to help with each of the following positions, which role would be best for you? You don’t have to log hundreds of volunteer hours for your student to benefit. Even if you can only volunteer a few hours a year, every little bit counts.
