Greek Mythology Basis Combinations of beliefs, rituals, and observations from the Ancient Greeks. Ancient Greece was founded around Archaic Period which lasted from 750-500 BC Greek culture lasted until the Romans overtook Greece, and later transformed the Greek’s religion into their own culture (around 146 BC)

Roman Mythology Basis Combination of beliefs, rituals and observations by the Ancient Romans Ancient Rome founded-April 21 723 (according to legend) Romulus and Remus Lasted until Christianity completely replaced the native religions of the Roman Empire
