Malcolm Baldrige Quality Award

Malcolm Baldrige Quality Award-Aim It’s a nations public-private partnership dedicated to improving the performance of U.S organizations. Our main focus areas are to 1. Help organizations achieve nest-in-class levels of performance 2. Identify and recognize role-model organizations. 3. Identify and share best management practices, principles and strategies.

Baldrige Excellence Framework The Baldrige Excellence Framework has three parts: (1) the criteria for performance excellence, (2) core values and concepts, and (3) scoring guidelines. The framework serves two main purposes: to help organizations assess their improvement efforts, diagnose their overall performance management system, and identify their strengths and opportunities for improvement and to identify Baldrige Award recipients that will serve as role models for other organizations.

The European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) The Objective: is to increase the effectiveness of European organizations and support the sustainable development of the European economies. We remain an independent, not for profit foundation; committed to supporting our members in their journey towards excellence. While we focus on Europe, we have a global reach and welcome the opportunity to support all organizations. King Abdul Aziz Quality Award The award is intended to maximize quality, efficiency, and productivity in different sectors within the kingdom. Some of KAQA objectives- Promoting the concept of quality and the importance of its application. Motivating and encouraging public and private sectors to adopt and apply the principles of total quality management on the national level. Maximizing quality in the production and services sectors to increase their competitiveness in the international markets. Upgrading organizational leadership to achieve the total management objectives and fulfill their responsibilities. Making continued improvements to the performance of all production and services processes. Encouraging organizations to comply with the national and international standards.
