GSA Approval Process Overview To haul freight loads for GSA Freight Management’s customer agencies, you must first become a GSA-approved Freight Transportation Service Provider (TSP) To become GSA approved, TSPs must complete a series of documents and return all required information to GSA Upon review and approval, GSA will notify the TSP and provide instructions on how to participate in GSA’s automated solutions – TransPort Integrator (TPI) and PayPort Express (PPE) Additionally, once approved, TSPs will be eligible to submit freight tender rates during GSA’s rate filing period, as well as provide SPOT/one-time-only quotes when requested by agencies

Further Requirements TSPs must have or must obtain a Standard Carrier Alpha Code (SCAC) SCACs can be obtained from the National Motor Freight Traffic Association at http://www.nmfta.org Before or during the approval process, TSPs must review information listed under the heading “STOS and RFO Library”. Once you are GSA approved, you must sign up for email notifications by: Visiting http://www.gsa.gov/portal/category/21192, enter your email address and click “Subscribe” You may sign up as many individuals in your organization as desired, but all must have a different email address Signing up for these email notifications will ensure that you receive important information and notices from GSA Freight Management pertaining to: TPI, PPE, STOS changes and updates, RFOs, etc. 6
