How did the idea of Chivalry first come about? The idea of Chivalry first came about during the Middle Ages at the time of the Crusades.

What happened by the thirteenth century? Chivalry became more complex.

What were two thing the knight had to for his lady? The two things are to joust for her favor and rescue his maidens in distress.

Why were the songs called romances? Originally these songs were written in Romance or Roman influence.

What was the Crusader code? The Crusader Code was created through the ideas from Chivalry.

What was the set of standards people were measured by? The set of standards people were measured by was Chivalry.
