Chapter 3 – Driver Responsibility HOW CAN WEARING SEAT BELTS KEEP A PERSON SAFE?

New Jersey’s Seat Belt Law The driver and all passengers must wear a seatbelt. Driver is responsible for enforcing the law. Child restraint systems must be placed in the rear of the vehicle. All children under 8 must be seated in the rear seat.
