3.1 Christology

What is Christology? The study of Jesus Christ and His provision of salvation for a lost humanity Christ is Christianity. Without Him, Christianity has no meaning.

Jesus is the centerpiece of our faith! Jesus Christ is the THEME of Scripture Old Testament Humanity falls into sin; they need a savior God promises that David’s family will rule forever The Prophets declare that a Messiah is coming New Testament The Gospels tell of His life and death His message is spread through the Book of Acts Churches are established in His name Revelation tells us that He’s coming again Jesus can be seen throughout all of scripture, whether in the shadows waiting for the right time to be revealed or clearly in the New Testament. Jesus is the centerpiece of our faith!
