Heraclitus By Tommy Montgomery

Ideas of Heraclitus There was no permanent reality except the reality of change; permanence was an illusion of the senses This means that not everything is reality, reality is mostly change

All things carried with them their opposites Another idea Of Heraclitus All things carried with them their opposites This means that opposites cannot exist without each other

Even another idea Death was potential in life This means he thinks life is like day, and death is like night

heraclitus Being and not-being were part of every whole This means all things either living or not are together in this world as one

One More idea by heraclitus Last idea explanation Fire is the underlying substance of the universe and all other elements transformations of it This means he identified life and reason with fire, and believed that no man had a soul of his own, that each shared a universal soul/fire
