Governance Relations – Community Boards 2015 Alignment and Support Goals Support collaborative connections among Community Boards (CBs), and between Community Boards, local management and the system. Ensure effective governance practices to meet changing system and local needs and expectations and optimize Community Board contributions to the PH&S Strategic Plan. Advance knowledge transfer, standardization, and rapid deployment of leading practices.

Governance Relations – Community Boards 2015 Key Focus Areas Advance and support board-leader-system partnership. Enable board focus, education and dialogue around health of community/ies. Explore collaborative synergies among our Community Boards, Philanthropic Boards, System Board and Sponsors. Standardize board portal contract and access. Welcome and integrate new affiliate boards.

Clinical and Service Quality across the Continuum – System Quality Strategic Plan Monitor quality and safety metrics Development of Local Quality Goals Identify and track specific local improvement goals Clinical Credentialing Approve clinical privileges and (re)appointments Local Charity Care Strategies Approve and monitor local plans - for a defined group of charity care patients - to improve care outcomes and efficiency and ensure care is provided in the optimal setting . Market-based Economic and Care Delivery Models Become educated re accountable care strategies and success factors and align governance practices and structures with new delivery models Annual Budget and Long Range Financial Plan Provide advice and counsel, recommend approval 3-Year Strategic Plan Market-based Growth Opportunities Provide advice and counsel regarding: Innovative partnerships New customers Local growth and development plans
