The Writing Process Steps to Follow

Step 5: Create Thesis Using the pattern you found, generate a thesis statement of what you will prove.
Step 6: Organize Outline the topics you will need to write about, along with appropriate supporting examples.
Step 7: Write Write a complete draft of the paper, based on your evidence and outline.
Complete a Works Cited page for all texts you used in the paper. Step 8: Works Cited Complete a Works Cited page for all texts you used in the paper.
Step 9: Revising and Editing Check paper to make sure it meets all necessary requirements and says exactly what you want it to say - make needed changes.
