El Verbo "Gustar" to please to like

The verb GUSTAR is used to express likes. Me gusta... Te gusta... Le gusta I like... You like... (informal) He/she likes... (formal) \

No me gusta... No te gusta... No le gusta... I don't like... You may also use GUSTAR to express dislikes.  Simply insert the word "NO" in front of your phrase. No me gusta... No te gusta... No le gusta... I don't like... You don't like... (informal) He/she doesn't like... (formal) \

If you like TO DO something... You can insert an INFINITIVE VERB after these  phrases in order to express liking the  action/activity. ** Remember, an infinitive is the simplest form of the verb and ends in   -ar, -er, or -ir in Spanish.  In English, this is expressed as to + verb (ex: to run, to jump, to swim).

How do you ask what someone likes to do? Just add question marks!!! Le gusta correr. = He/she likes to run. ***Add question marks: ¿Le gusta correr? = Does he like to run? Adding the question marks implies the “Do/does” part of the question. No extra words needed in Spanish!

¿A Road Runner qué le gusta hacer? He likes to run. (correr)

¿A Taylor qué le gusta hacer? She likes to sing and to play the guitar. (cantar, tocar la guitarra)
