What is Wellness? Wellness is the condition of being in maximum physical and behavioral health. Wellness is the condition of being in maximum physical and behavioral health. The concept of practicing all the things that keep one well. It involves maintaining good nutrition, exercise, stress-control, and good personal and familial social relationships.

Aspects of Wellness Physical Health The fitness of your body Factors that can harm your physical health Too little sleep Eating too much or too fast Lack of physical activity Tobacco, alcohol and other drugs Health care professionals use medicine, physical therapy, diet , and surgery to care for the physical health of their patients.

Aspects of Wellness Mental Health The way you feel about yourself, your life, and the world around you People who have good mental health usually like themselves for who they are. Irrational fears, stress, and depression may be signs of a mental health problem.

Aspects of Wellness Social Health The way you get along with other people Learning to resolve conflicts with others is a skills that can help you maintain good social health. Social health is related to understanding and accepting individual roles. Learning ways to act in each of your many roles can contribute to your social health. Developing social skills such as communication will help you achieve optimum social health which means you can effectively work, play, and interact with others cooperatively.
