Within the financial performance category, are our Commercial Lending Solutions that help community banks generate recurring fee income, grow core deposits and increase net interest income STOP clicking slides at this point. Question Challenge something from the Bank’s Call report that shows them you know their numbers and they need some help fixing. Then, use bank data sheet to ask questions of the bank that you may have already discussed in a first meeting so all the new participants know what the bank’s pains are. Once the dialogue is finished and you know their goals: Thank you (name of banker) for sharing that information about your bank, it provides context for our meeting. Regarding your goals, every bank that is using BM strategically had the same goals & objectives and for these banks BM has or is becoming a major piece of their puzzle helping them achieve their goals. Let me share 3 sources that validate BM’s income impact. Each year our Risk Managers perform portfolio reviews to measure the performance of BM portfolios. (RECITE CORRECT FIGURES FROM KEN SUMMAR’S “SIGNIFICANCT REPORT PEER GROUP”). For BM banks from $200-500MM in assets, the BM portfolios on average consists of 8 businesses, equals .48% of assets, produces an ROA of 10.30% yet represents 8.48% of the bank’s annualized income. During our recent 12/13/11 webcast, David Kapavik-CEO of Lone Star Bank stated the BM income at his bank equals 20% of the bank’s total ROA. And more close to home, you may recall Oak Hill Bank. Before being acquired by Westbanco, BM was part of their major piece of their strategic plan. Oak Hill Bank was purchasing $10-11MM of A/R per month, had a $11MM average monthly balance with an average A/R Turn of 31 days and was earning a net yield of 10.5%. The bank WAS EARNING $1.2MM PER YEAR! So, after our meeting today, we certainly hope you do your due diligence, because I firmly believe that the more you do the more you will like about the BM program. Once you complete the due diligence, we also hope you will allow us to partner with you so together we can build the BM program so your bank can realize the same type of income impact.
