Math and Reading Performance CURRENT STANDING – (6.3 out of 40 POINTS) Two components: Part I - Status % Proficient 5.3 out of 25 points Part II - % Proficient Using VAM 1 out of 15 points Total 40 points

Status: Percent Proficient and Above (5.3 out of 25 points)

CURRENT STANDING Part 1 STATUS % PROFICIENT (5.3 out of 25 POINTS) 24% of students proficient reading x 12.5 = 3 points 18% of students proficient math x 12.5 = 2.3 points

FAQ’s How is growth for 3rd grader determined? They receive an estimate based on their school membership and on statewide scores of all 3rd graders. How are kids in the bottom quartile (Q1) determined? If student has 3 years of test scores, their quartile membership is determined from year 1 If student has 2 years of test scores, their quartile membership is determined from the prior year If they are third graders or new to PED school, then membership comes from the current year
