Case Example - Cinema Liberating discipline-specific support to their intended roles Discipline The Cinema Department resided under a distributed College IT support team. Specialized support was ceded to the department. Discipline specialists roles focused on support analog and digital film making spent significant time managing computers. IT support centralized removing management of computers from discipline specialist’s workload gaining time-base and allowing for refocus on broader discipline innovation.
