IT Vision “ To develop AP as an Innovation Society of global repute, with a focus on enhancing the quality of life of its citizens, through high-quality education and healthcare, increased productivity in agriculture and allied activities, creation of employment by promoting Industries & Services Sectors, including Electronics and IT, and above all, by providing Good Governance”

Policies IT Electronics Innovation & Start-UP IoT DTP In line with the strategy highlighted in the Blueprint Document, the Government drafted a “Policies” to meet present and future of Technologies The policies are based on the four “Pillars of Growth”. The policies are unparalleled compared to other policies across the country. POLICIES for IMPACT

IT Policy (Covering IT & ITES) Good Governance Human Capital Infrastructure Incentives PILLARS OF GROWTH Transparent Policies Digital Governance SLAs Driven Administration Feed back based rating and follow up for improvement Real Time Governance (RTG) is the mantra and followed at all levels. Reflecting the vision of leadership Abundance of human capital exists Soft Skills, Language skills become mandatory at school and college level Industry participation in imparting education All universities mandated to be incubators. World class facilities being developed by Government PPP models encouraged to augment supply of facilities. High Quality Power, water and other logistical aspects taken care Simple and Straight All Levels of Units given due consideration. Focused on Employment Generation and Quality of life In addition to incentives extended by GoI

Types of Companies Mega Companies: Mega Companies are projects which create employment of 5000 or more in a span of 5 years in case where the company owns the land. In case of government allotting land, the mega project has to create employment of 5000 or more. General: All units that fall below the mega companies, but doing more than Rs. 25 Cr revenue per annum and employed more than 250 people. MSME/ BC/ SC/ ST/ Women/ Rural IT: Units that have been started by reserved category people, companies having less than Rs. 25 Cr. Revenue in a financial year and companies that are established in rural areas Basis of incentive eligibility is simplified on the parameter of generation of employment

Incentive Schemes In case of Mega Projects with Land, fiscal incentive will be @INR 50,000 per employee OR 6 months CTC (cost to company), whichever is lower. In case of General Projects with Land, fiscal incentive will be @INR 50,000 per employee OR 6 months CTC (cost to company), whichever is lower. In case of General Projects with out Land, fiscal incentive will be @INR 1,00,000 per employee OR 6 months CTC (cost to company), whichever is lower. In case of MSME/ BC/ SC/ ST/ Women/ Rural IT Projects, fiscal incentive will be @INR 1,50,000 per employee OR 6 months CTC (cost to company), whichever is lower. Units with employee strength of a 250 and annual turnover of Rs.25 Cr. in previous financial year will be eligible to be considered for allotment of land. Training companies: Training Companies are eligible for investment subsidy of 50% or Rs. 1 Crore, whichever is lower.
