Current Event Current Event should be based off an article written about something that has happened recently NO WIKIPEDIA ARTICLES -- should be from a reliable news source Do NOT pick from Sports section. Length = two paragraphs total. I will count off if you give me more than this. We really need to master following directions and summarization skills.

Current Event 1st paragraph: summary If you have a hard time with this, try this: Read the article completely. Repeat if you didn’t understand it. Put the article away. Write your summary. Refer back to the article only to check the spelling or specific information you think is necessary. Absolutely do NOT rewrite the article
