Other Considerations for Course Selection: Vocal Music—if trying out, sign up for Men’s or Women’s Choir or the choir you are in currently. Change will be made if you are selected into another choir. Have you failed classes that must be retaken, or do you want to retake very low passing classes? When you register online, you can click on “Grade History” to see all past classes. Carefully consider if this is important. “C” is the highest retake grade you may receive. 9/22/2018

Interested in taking college classes during high school? UNL offers online courses through the Nebraska NOW program specifically designed for high school students. Juniors and seniors can take these courses. You are starting your college transcript, so you must be very careful to do it well. Some of the courses could replace courses that are needed for high school, as well. We believe these courses are transferrable, but cannot guarantee it. 9/22/2018
SCC has online college classes DC Advantage Works similar to the UNL’s program. Is transferrable to many 4-year colleges, such as UNL, UNO, UNK and others. Juniors and seniors can take these classes. Come to the Guidance Office for more information. 9/22/2018
