HOMEWORK

It should go without saying that you should do your homework and do it on time

What is Homework? Assignments to be done out-of-class. An extension of classroom work. Tasks that practice and reinforce newly acquired skills.

Purpose of Homework To help you learn what was taught in class. To gain information by reading and answering questions. To elaborate and amplify the classroom work.

Benefits of Doing Homework You become a RESPONSIBLE individual. You learn to be SELF-DISCIPLINED. You feel a SENSE OF ACCOMPLISHMENT. You develop TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS.

Benefits of Doing Homework Continued You gain greater INTEREST in topics. You develop STUDY SKILLS. Your SELF-CONFIDENCE is boosted.

Benefits of Doing Homework Continued You realise the POTENTIAL of your mind. Homework gives you a CHANCE to fix your mistakes and to IMPROVE on your weaknesses.
