Reading – “Cultural Diffusion” During the reading, I want you to focus on the following questions: 1.) Using the reading, what do you believe “cultural diffusion” is? 2.) What are some examples of “cultural diffusion” from the reading? 3.) How has “cultural diffusion” shaped the world we live in today?

Opening Cultural Diffusion – The exchange of ideas or products between cultures. While watching the video, write down as many examples of cultural diffusion as you can find: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i189C22tFM4

Work Session 1.) Brainstorm a list of examples of cultural diffusion that you see on a daily basis (minimum of 7 things) 2.) Draw a picture of those things 3.) Explain whether you believe each example is a result of spread through technology, trade, conquest, foreign interaction, study, migration, or a mixture (what is the mixture?)

Closing 1.) What is something from the Middle East that has been shared in the United States through cultural diffusion? 2.) Presentations of 1 persons “cultural diffusions”
