Why Kindle? Amazon makes up a higher percentage of the total US ebook market than the oft-cited 65% figure: when indie books without ISBNs are included in the statistics, Amazon accounts for 74% of all US ebook purchases and 71% of all US consumer dollars spent on ebooks. 80% of eBooks sold worldwide are on Kindle or viewed through a Kindle app. The true US ebook market, which includes non-ISBN sales, is at least 50% larger than ISBN-limited market statistics from Nielsen and Bowker are estimating.

Content is King! There will always be a need for writers to create and develop stories, which others can take and embellish with the current technologies.
Developing Content Can you relieve a pain? Can you solve a problem? Do you have a story to tell? (fiction or nonfiction) What is the story of your life? (memoir or autobiography)
What is a Kindle book? Page count is equal to the level of interest in the information. (woman’s skirt metaphor) People expect a bit more than a 5-page report for the money if you are calling it a book. (Suggest 15-20K word count.)
