Pueblo Uprising of 1680

Pueblo Religion The Pueblo worshiped their ancestors’ spirits in underground meeting places called KIVAS.

Pueblo Religion The Pueblo communed with their ancestors through special rituals. Pueblo religious leaders dressed up as KACHINAS. These characters represented the power of the ancestors and nature.
