CST Science Scholarship Overview Cell Signaling Technology (CST) is pleased to offer four $10,000 scholarships to high school students from the North Shore communities of Beverly, Danvers, Gloucester, Lynn, Peabody, and Salem. Scientific endeavor is instrumental in solving critical social, environmental, and technical challenges that societies face worldwide. Our company mission is to deliver the highest quality research tools that accelerate progress in biological research and personalized medicine and we depend on our local schools to inspire young people to choose a career committed to science. We hope to provide guidance to students in their junior year of high school in choosing a path that could help nurture their interest in science, while providing a sense of financial security for their upcoming years in college. https://www.cellsignal.com/contents/about-us-corporate-social-responsibility/cst-science-scholarship-overview/science-scholarship © 2017 Cell Signaling Technology, Inc. Scholarship Process Applications will be accepted from Gloucester, Lynn, Peabody, Danvers, Beverly and Salem public high school students in their junior year who have demonstrated high achievement and interest in science. Four final scholars will be chosen by the CST Employee Scholarship Committee based on the following criteria: grade point average, teacher assessment, and clarity of essay submitted with application. Selected students will be notified of the award at the end of their junior year and scholarships will be awarded once they’re enrolled in college, provided students graduate high school with the minimum GPA. Each of the four (4) selected students will receive four annual scholarships ($1,000 freshman year, $2,000 sophomore year, $3,000 junior year, and $4,000 senior year) provided they complete the required high school courses, major in a life science, maintain required GPA in college and present written confirmation to CST that they have completed the community service requirement.
