(See kidshealth.org for tips) Keep binders and/or notebook organized, with a box for papers that have already been graded at home Homework Club: M-Th in Lakeside’s Media Center 3:10 – 4:00 p.m. begins Monday, September 18th Absent students should be proactive in retrieving what was missed Use of the planner, Parent Portal and Canvas!!!

Step It Up FUNDRAISER A donation drive that goes towards Student-Centered Activities throughout the year! All money raised during this fundraiser goes directly back to Lakeside students in order to support activities, clubs, dances, extra-curricular groups, scholarships and more!   The fundraiser kicks off Wednesday, September 20th and will run though Wednesday, October 4th. All donations are tax deductible!  Covers ALL expenses that IUSD and PTA don’t or can’t.

Why Is This Fundraiser Needed??? Scholarships Field Trips Elective Fees PE Fees Academic Competition registration and/or fees ASB supplies Butcher Paper Sharpies Paint & Paint Brushes Staple Guns & Staples Tape Envelopes, files, folders Printer Cartridges All colored paper for flyers IUSD Print Shop expenses Teacher stipends to teach and coach all Extra-Curricular Opportunities for students. Substitute coverage for teacher coaches for all Extra-Curricular Opportunities. Students’ admission and partial registration all Extra-Curricular Opportunities as the the budget allows. Assemblies Advisement & School-wide Competitions and Supplies Lunchtime Sports 8th Grade Dance and Promotion Activities: Academic Achievement Awards Venue Student Awards & Plaques Breakfast 7th Grade Orientation Breakfast Spirit Days Supplies Competition & Event Prizes Toilet seat covers in student restrooms LMS Dance expenses required to break even after ticket sales DJ, Photo Booth, Food, Decorations, Supplies, etc.
