Legislative Branch One house- equal representation Two houses (bicameral)- House of Reps- based pop. Senate- equal representation

Executive Branch No president President- elected Electoral College

Judicial Branch No judges Supreme Court- 9, “Judicial Review”

Passing Laws 9/13 must agree- Super Majority Simple Majority, more than 50%

Power over States Not much “Supremacy Clause” Constitution wins all fights

Amendments Everyone had to agree- all 13 states in Congress AND All State Legislatures 50% of the Congress and 50% of the State Legislatures

Raising an Army NO- no money to pay the army! President is Commander in Chief
