To seek wholeness, Through faith, quest and learning to become what God intends us to be.

GCSEs are public examinations. The results will stay with you throughout the rest of your education and into your career. Success in GCSEs is needed to progress on to Further and Higher Education, Training and Employment. GCSE choices can have an effect on choices available at Post-16. To seek wholeness, Through faith, quest and learning to become what God intends us to be.

To seek wholeness, Through faith, quest and learning to become what God intends us to be. Many courses have an element called Controlled Assessment; the rules about these are different to traditional coursework. For example: English Language 60% Design & Technology 60% Health and Social Care 60% Art & Design 60% Food and Nutrition 60% Media Studies 60%

To seek wholeness, Through faith, quest and learning to become what God intends us to be. Students starting two-year GCSE courses in September 2013 will sit their exams at the end of the course in summer Students will no longer be able to re-sit individual unit exams in order to boost their marks – although they may retake the whole GCSE examination. Students may, however, be given an early opportunity to sit Maths and English GCSEs in November of Year 11.
