Virtual Stock Market A game brought to you by: The Finopsis Club

General Rules o Every team will be given Rs. 1,00,000 virtual money to play in this game. o There will be 5 rounds in this game. o Every team will be given a single Rough Sheet for any rough calculations, during the game. o At the beginning of each round every team will be given a sheet which will have to be filled by the team and will have to be returned at the end of that round.

Rules Those sheets will have the name of the securities on offer, the quantity purchased/sold (by the team) and the price at which the security has been bought/sold (by the team). Finally in the last round, i.e. the 5 th round, compiled returns from each of the previous rounds shall be added to know the total returns on the investment.

Rules Technical chart for each company will be displayed in the beginning for limited time period. Average Current Market price will be displayed for every security in every round so the purchases or sales can be made accordingly.

Rules for ROUND 1 Every team will be given ONLY Rs. 40,000 virtual money in this round. In this round each team can only BUY securities listed in our Virtual Stock Market. Buying has to be strictly maintained to the given monetary limit. Any quantity of the security can be bought at the price shown on the screen. Cues, for purchases, will be shown in the form of graphs of the prices for the listed securities. TIME LIMIT IS 10 minutes for this round.

Purchases has to be limited to the total virtual money available with the teams. Cues, in the form of news will be flashed on the screen so that prudent decisions can be taken by the teams. TIME LIMIT is 10 minutes for this round.

The total returns thereby earned from all the previous rounds shall be noted on the sheet provided. TIME LIMIT in this round is 10 minutes.
