Somatic-Therapy-San-Francisco  Somatic basically signifies 'having to do with the body.' A somatic treatment of any sort is one the arrangements with the body.  As a form of psychotherapy, somatic therapy San Francisco is a way of affecting emotional changes via the body.somatic therapy San Francisco  Somatic therapy isn't only one kind of treatment, however. A wide exhibit of physical systems can be accustomed to achieving positive changes in the body and brain.  We specialize in these techniques; we use many other procedures to suit your specific needs.

How It Works  The theory behind somatic therapy San Francisco is that the mind, body, spirit, and emotions are all related and connected to each other.  Through developing awareness of the mind-body connection and using specific interventions, somatic therapy helps you to release the tension, anger, frustration and other emotions that remain in your body from these past negative experiences.  The goal is to help free you from the stress and pain that is preventing you from fully engaging in your life.

You can think of me as your emotional midwife, for I'm here to help you push when you need to and learn to surrender when it's time. I'm a psychotherapist because I know in my bones that when we choose to stand for ourselves, the ripple effect on our world is palpable. HI THERE, I'M DANA
