#1 GOOGLE ADVANCED SEARCH Find web pages that have… All these words- type in a group of words that relate to the subject you want to find. This exact wording or phrase- Type exactly what you want to search for. You can do this in standard search by "surrounding your phrase with quotes". One or more of these words- Type up to three words to search for. Anything with at least one of the words will show up. You do this in standard search by typing OR between your alternate words. But don’t show pages that have… Any of these unwanted words- Type in words that you do not want to appear in the results for your search. You can do this in standard search by adding a - (minus sign) to the beginning of the word you don't want.

Need more tools? Reading level- chose the reading level you want the results to be. Results per page- chose number of results you want to appear for your search. Language- chose the language you want the results to be in. File type- chose the format you want the results to be in. Search within a site or domain- type in what website or domain you want your result to be from. Date, usage rights, numeric range, and more… Date- chose a time frame of how recent the page is Usage rights- chose the usage rights you want on the page Where your keywords show up- chose where you want the keywords you put in to be located. Region- chose a region you want the result page to be from Numeric Range-type a range of numbers when you want pages containing those numbers in the range. Safe search- allows you to check YES or NO to prevent showing results that have explicit content   Page Specific Tools: Find pages similar to the page- type in a web page that you want to search for pages similar to it Find pages that link to the page- Type in a web page that you want to find links to
