Presentation transcript:

Finding the right care for your infant will be a highly individualized process, so it’s important to first make a list of the qualities you want your child’s care program to embody.

However, for the general safety and well being of your infant, there are a few qualities that every good infant care program should possess.

Here are a few of the basic things to look for in infant care: 1-Open Communication 2-Appropriate Atmosphere 3-Accomodating 4-Qualifications and certifications 5-Community Reputaton

The care program you choose should have excellent communication with parents and other professionals.

Proper interaction with your infant’s caregiver at any time of the day is essential to feel more secure, and to ensure that your infant is safe at all times.

It’s important to take note of how the infant room is decorated, how the teachers interact and engage with the other infants.

There should be age-appropriate toys and activities and the floors should be spotless, as infants spend a majority of their time crawling on the ground.

The infant caregivers and educators should be very much accommodating to parents and the children.

It should be evident that the child care facility is culturally tolerant and accommodating to the wishes and beliefs of many different kinds of families in the community.

One of the most important qualities of any good child care center is the proud display of their qualifications and certifications in child care and education.

They should be prepared to expand on their expertise in child care, including their facility certifications, teacher certifications and educational background.

It is valuable to know what others in the community have to say about the various child care facilities you’re considering for enrolling your kid.

Looking at online reviews is one way to find out how other parents feel about the child care center, and you may also want to ask the center for a list of referrals.

Among all the attributes of a good child care center, reliability and consistency are perhaps the most important qualities.

Children thrive off of predictable, structured schedules and routines, and the more consistent child care programs are, the more children feel safe and secure.

Most child care facilities implement routines that are age-appropriate and cater to the developmental stage of certain age groups.

The childcare experts at Great Beginnings Child Care and Learning Center in Sugar Hill, GA, make it their mission to provide exceptional quality child care for children from infancy all the way to early adolescence.

We take the time to develop care routines for our infant programs that address their developmental stage.

If you’d like to learn more about our infant care program, please contact one of our helpful professionals directly.
