Managing Time (and Stress) by Managing Yourself!
Presentation transcript:

When you are under tremendous pressure due to work and need to complete multiple projects in short turnaround time, you can feel dead and panic.

If you feel that you are alone who are under high pressure then you are totally wrong. Many people are cracked under high-pressure every day.

But it's your duty to learn from those moments and develop a system for learning how to stay calm in future.

You might have felt overwhelmed at that time, but you definitely learn how to be cool, calm, collected when things get heavy.

Panic, fear, and frustration are natural human emotions, but we can learn to keep your heads and get the job done with the below-defined practice.

The most important thing you need to learn is don't panic. When you get panic, you can waste your valuable time and mental and emotional resources.

You can't be effective at your job in the midst of panic and other people are looking to you for help or guidance will to feel the same emotions.

If you are feeling panic, then take a moment to yourself and breathe and remember that the world isn't crashing down.

Now think about the task at hand and the things you need to do in order to be successful. Again focus on the task by neglecting the emotions.

A lot of time, we panic at work because we see the large scope of the task we have been assigned by the authority.

The large assigned tasks are doesn't create a panic situation when you break the big problem into smaller tasks.

Instead of looking at the massive projects, you can break the task as per the basic of weeks, months and years.

If you have been tasked to complete it within this month, then you can break it into weekly assignments that are more easily digestible.

In critical moments, we might have feelings of fear and doubt which are natural. After all keeping a strong support system is the key to your success.

You can bounce the ideas off of them and get their opinions to perform important tasks and take useful decisions.

At work, your support team might be your boss or a mentor. But in your personal life, it might be your parents or a close friend.

Your support system can help to get through the difficult times by reinforcing the positive traits and help you to limit your negative thoughts and emotions.

The things about life is sometimes we fail at different tasks we are working on and don't get it right and sometimes let the panic to overwhelm us completely.

It is important that we look back on those moments and evaluate when we went wrong and from these moments we can get valuable insights.

By sharing things with trusted confidants we can gain valuable feedbacks. If you don't learn from those moments, you can make them again at some point.

So, make sure that even you do fail, learn from what happens and not try to make the same mistake again.
