The transmission is the vital component of the car which is responsible for transferring the power generated by the engine.

The transmission transfer the power which is accumulated from the torque and rotational speed of the wheels.

The worn out transmission can provide certain signs, so it's better to seek out a professional auto repair shop to fix the problem.

The below-described points help you to find out the signs of a worn out or failing transmission system in the car.

Check engine light

The check engine light is the common sign of worn out transmission because it is deployed with several sensor engines to detect the issue.

The sensor of the engine and the component detect the irregularities of the transmission such as increased vibration and activate the check engine light.

When you find these issues in your car, it is recommended to take your car to the nearest auto repair shop.

Transmission slippage

While driving the car, if you hear the whining noise from the engine at the time of shifting, then it will cause by the transmission slippage.

Due to this issue, the wheels of your car get low power from the engine. As a result, it will affect the movement or acceleration.

The slippage of transmission can cause tachometer beyond the 3500 RPM and delays in acceleration.
