Presentation transcript:

Tooth decay is the primary causes of a toothache, so you need to perform the complete oral examination for determining the cause.

Causes of the tooth decay are infections, grinding teeth, tooth trauma, gum disease and abnormal bite as well.

The tooth eruption is the causes of tooth or jaw pain especially found in the babies and the school-age children.

The first sign of a toothache is the pain you will feel when you eat something sweet, very cold or very hot.

The pulp is placed inside the mouth where the tissues and nerves are present. When the pulp is irritated, then it can cause pain in your mouth.

Symptoms of a toothache

The symptoms of a toothache often reassemble other health conditions or the dental problems in your body.

The common symptoms of a toothache is generally very difficult to diagnose without complete evaluation by your dentist.

The different symptoms of a toothache is the: High fever. Swelling around the tooth area. While bite something feeling the pain. Notice a foul-tasting discharge. Continuous pain while eating or drinking something. Facing difficulties while swallowing or breathing.

Alleviate the pain

Diagnose your toothache by a dentist. If it is untreated, then the condition becomes worse and cause serious damages.

If you unable to schedule an appointment with your dentist, then perform the self-care treatment for temporarily healing the pain.

If your tooth has been knocked out, then without any delay visit your dentist or the hospital and admit in the emergency room immediately.

Treatment provided by dentist

The dentist will take the complete examination of your teeth for determining the location and causes of a toothache.

Take x-ray for getting the evidence of tooth decay between the teeth, impacted tooth or the cracked tooth.

They also prescribe medication or antibiotics for healing the toothache speedily as well as for relieving the pain.

Prevent a toothache

Prevent the toothache by following the regular oral hygiene routine and try to stick to it.

Try to brush regularly twice a day or after every meal for preventing the risk of developing cavities.

Thank You!
