List of Management and Behavioural Personality Attributes

Management and Behavioural Applications of Personality is an important aspect to be studied wherein a person hired is assessed on personality traits so that his nature and attitude perfectly first with the existing company norms. These attributes have direct connection with personality traits that influence the organisational behaviours

Self-Evaluation This trait is found among people who have a tendency to evaluate themselves in a much effective, accomplished, competent and earnest manner.

Self-Conduct Also known as Locus of Control, this personality attributes explain how an individual behaves in working environment. Such people have great control and can channelize their own destiny.

Narcissism This trait is explained as an individual’s nature of giving self-importance and are seek admiration. They work with a sense of entitlement and are compelling to act like leaders.

Self-Esteem This trait explains a person’s capability to monitor / regulate his behaviour in compliance with the social situations. People with high self-monitoring skills have a tendency to adjust their behaviour as per the surroundings / situational factors.

Self- Monitoring This trait has a direct relation with satisfaction with job since people who have high self-esteem always tend to succeed. On the contrary, people with Lower case - suggestion self-esteem tend to fall a prey to external distractions.

Risk Taking A person’ ability to take defines his calibre to be a great or average manager. So, for them it is essential to spot recognize risk-taking propensity without affecting the job demands.
