Clean The Drum Unit Call USA & AUS Method 1

Open the front cover and remove the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly. Call USA & AUS Step 1

Clean the corona wire inside the drum unit. Call USA & AUS Step 2

On the right side of the drum are two small pieces of metal that look like staples and a metal rod sticking out of the side. Call USA & AUS Step 3

Now clean off each of these with a soft DRY lint-free cloth. Call USA & AUS Step 4

Reinstall the toner and drum assembly into the machine and close the front cover. Call USA & AUS Step 5

Now confirm if you are using a genuine Brother Toner and drum. Call USA & AUS Step 6

Make sure that the machine is turned on. Call USA & AUS Step 1

Open the front cover. Call USA & AUS Step 2

Press Clear or Clear/Back on the control panel. Call USA & AUS Step 3
