The scientific study of the behaviour and mental processes of individuals, and how it is affected by an organism’s physical state, mental state, and external environment. © John Crane & Jette Hannibal, InThinking

Behavior is an observable action emitted by an organism

Mental Process (far more difficult to observe directly) for it include thoughts, feelings and beliefs

If our ways of studying is through scientific ways, then they are based on systematic observation and their goals are:  To describe  To explain  To predict  To change
