Faith has only got five letters, F A I T H – that’s all, And beside most other wording It’s comparatively small.

Yet, with all its small dimension, When you claim this mighty word, All the power of Heaven is waiting When you use it in the Lord.

Faith makes things that are unpleasant And impossible to gain All come true – just like the sunshine When you call on Jesus’ name.

Just a little word, so potent, That regardless of your need It will win each losing battle And your fondest hopes exceed.

Serving Expectantly

Thankful Expectation 8 First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world. 

Concerned Expectation whom I serve with my spirit 9 For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of His Son,

Concerned Expectation I make mention of you always …that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers,

Submissive Expectation

Submissive Expectation 10 making request if, by some means, now at last I may find a way in the will of God to come to you. 

Submissive Expectation James 4 13 Come now, you who say,  “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit”—

Submissive Expectation 14 yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. 

Submissive Expectation 15 Instead you ought to say,  “If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.” 

so that you may be established— Loving Expectation 11 For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, so that you may be established— 

Humble Expectation

Humble Expectation 12 that is, that I may be encouraged together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.

Fruitful Expectation 13 Now I do not want you to be unaware, brethren, that I often planned to come to you (but was hindered until now), that I might have some fruit among you also, just as among the other Gentiles

for without Me you can do nothing. Fruitful Expectation John 15 5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. 

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is Against such there is no law. Fruitful Expectation Galatians 5 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

Fruitful Expectation 22 …having been set free from sin, Romans 6  22 …having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life.

that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. Fruitful Expectation Hebrews 13 15 Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.

Fruitful Expectation Romans 16 5 Likewise greet the church that is in their house [Priscilla and Aquila]. Greet my beloved Epaenetus, who is the firstfruits of Achaia to Christ. 

14 I am a debtor both to Greeks both to wise and to unwise. Obedient Expectation 14 I am a debtor both to Greeks and to barbarians, both to wise and to unwise. 

I am ready to preach the gospel to you who are in Rome also. Eager Expectation 15 So, as much as is in me,  I am ready to preach the gospel to you who are in Rome also. 

When you’re in a heap of trouble And you don’t know what to do, Talk to God, in faith believing, He will always see you through.

Never mind how deep the valley Or the turmoil that you’re in, Faith will put you on the mountain, Give you peace, and make you win.

Life is filled with many questions, As we live and strive each day, Trials, burdens, tribulations, Never cease to go away.

So I saw in my dream, that just as Christian came up with the Cross, his Burden loosed from off his shoulders, and fell from off his back,
