Home readers Short comments appreciated Home school contact – any notes etc. We encourage independence in choosing library books Reinforce reading skills, but not ‘teaching’ – just enjoy listening or sharing books at home Our aim is to get children interested in reading and to share a book everyday. It doesn’t matter what ‘colour’ sticker is on the book, although we try to provide children with a book that is at a level that they can read.

School Routine Morning Break End of Day Children are encouraged to come into school on their own in the mornings and are becoming increasingly independent Any messages can be handed as a note to the adult at the door as the children come in, e.g. a change of person collecting your child at the end of the day If there is something you don’t want to talk about on the door Mrs Keeling is available. We are sure you appreciate we need to be in class to settle the children.
