Aledo Trail Traffic Control December 19, 2013 P HASE 1 SWITCH TO PHASE 2

Aledo Trail Update Contractors schedule shows 3 months for Phase 2 construction and project completed by May Phase 1 to Phase 2: Contractor has stated that traffic switch will occur from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on one day in mid to late January Electronic Message Boards will post date of traffic switch 2 weeks prior to exact date of traffic switch Contractor anticipates traffic switch to take approximately 5 hours Traffic to transition from west side to east side of FM 1187 at Oak Street Intersection. S. Front Street access closed off of FM 1187 and maintained via Crockett Street N. Front Street will be closed and Elm Street will remain open for the first portion of Phase 2. Once N. Front Street improvements are completed N. Front Street will be opened and Elm Street will be closed until Elm Street improvements are completed. RR crossing at Chestnut Street will be closed once Phase 1 is completed. All driveways will have access to public ROW during this process. Contractor and FNI staff will coordinate with adjacent property/business owners throughout construction for access while driveways are being constructed.

Aledo Trail Phase 1/Phase 2 – RR Crossings Chestnut RR crossing to be closed to general public traffic once relocation of existing gates to southbound Aledo Trail RR crossing begins. TCP at Aledo Trail & FM 1187 Project Limits Transition traffic from east side of FM 1187 to west side of FM 1187 at Oak Street Intersection. Transition likely to occur approximately one month after Phase 2 begins. Contractor is currently constructing the west side of FM 1187 at the Oak Street intersection.
