Mind/Body/Spirit We are wonderfully made! It is now time to remember the power of this interface. A Human Being has 100 Trillion cells. Each one is engaged with the others/instant messaging. Each cell has the potential for 1.17 volts of electricity. Average Human Being has 80,000 thoughts each day. 80% of these thoughts involve put-downs. Beliefs are powerful. Only 35% of our DNA is activated. Some animals on this earth make their own Vitamin C.

Integrative Health It is not one place. It includes Integrative Medicine. It is not limited to Allopathic Medicine (other theories of healing are honored too). It is not confined to a few select disciplines. It is not contrary to current treatment plans. It is not “voodoo” or laced with “snake oil”. It is not to be ignored since it is driven by patient demand. It is clearly positive for enhancing patient experience and employee engagement.

Acupuncture Dates back to at least 2500 years ago An essential component of Chinese/Eastern Medicine Patterns of energy (QI) flow through the body The better the flow the greater the health Blockages occur and cause dis-ease Stimulation of acupuncture points can enhance the flow Pain, nausea, anxiety, arthritis, depression, sleep problems, asthma, fatigue, smoking cessation, etc.

East Meets West This got a huge boost when one of President Nixon’s entourage while in China experienced a ruptured appendix and was treated through acupuncture (Chinese Medicine).

Aromatherapy Art and practice of using aroma of natural oils from flowers, roots, bark, leaves, and other parts of plants to enhance health Oils stimulate brain function Oils can also be absorbed through the skin and travel through the bloodstream Pain relief, mood, nausea, agitation, anxiety, cognitive function, etc.
