Luke 24:49 (AMP) And behold, I will send forth upon you what My Father has promised, but remain in the city (Jerusalem) until you are clothed with power from on high.

Acts 2:1 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. When suddenly there came a sound from heaven like the rushing of a violent tempest blast, and it filled the whole house in which there were sitting.

Today is Pentecost Sunday too! Pentecost Gathering Exodus 23:16 And you shall keep the Feast of Harvest (Pentecost), (acknowledging) the firstfruits of your toil, of what you sow in the field…   Leviticus 23:15 Count fifty days to the day after the seventh Sabbath; then you shall offer a new grain offering to the Lord Pentecost is a holiday on which we commemorate the coming of the Holy Spirit on the early followers of Jesus. Today is Pentecost Sunday too!

They became carriers of God’s Presence. About 120 (Acts 1:15) people gathered in one place were baptized in the Holy Ghost and filled with the presence of God. They became carriers of God’s Presence.

the Holy Spirit of God came upon men. In the New Testament, In the Old Testament, the Holy Spirit of God came upon men. In the New Testament, the Holy Spirit of God came to dwell in men. Tongues resembling fire set upon each of them and they spoke with other tongues.

Acts 2:6-8 (AMP) And when this sound was heard, the multitude came together and they were astonished and bewildered, because each one heard them (the apostles) speaking in his own (particular) dialect. And they were beside themselves with amazement, saying, Are not all these who are talking Galileans? Then how is it that we hear, each of us, in our own (particular) dialect to which we were born?

Acts 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit upon all mankind, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy and your young men shall see visions and your old men shall dream dreams.

You can prophecy, see visions and dream dreams. YOU are a Carrier of God’s Presence You can prophecy, see visions and dream dreams.

Acts 2:41 Therefore, those who accepted and welcomed his message were baptized and there were added that day about 3,000 souls.

Acts 10:44 (AMP) While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who were listening to the message.

The disciples had a new boldness within them. They understood why they had to wait to be endued with power from on high. The Spirit of God would be with them and would never leave them nor forsake them.

Acts 4:31 And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

Acts 4:13 (AMP) Now when they saw the boldness and unfettered eloquence of Peter and John and perceived that they were unlearned and untrained in the schools (common men with no educational advantages) they marveled; and they recognized that they had been with Jesus.

The Holy Spirit dwells within us You will be a witness to others of the life of Christ in you, through you and out of you. The Holy Spirit dwells within us so that we can be a carrier of God’s presence.

Signs Follow Mark 16:17-18 (NKJV) 17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

1 Corinthians 6:19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? We go as ambassadors, commissioned by God, into all the world to preach & teach the Kingdom with power.
