Geography ILC: You will need to choose ONE task from each list below. Select information and present it clearly Identify key features within a place or country Produce one map of one Asian country naming its main physical (mountains, rivers, seas, lakes etc) and another map showing its human features (towns and cities etc). OR Produce a labelled photo gallery of physical (mountains, rivers, lakes etc) and human features (towns and cities etc) for one Asian country. -Make a large version of one Asian country’s flag. In different sections of the flag label that country’s physical (mountains, rivers, lakes etc) and human features (towns and cities etc). You could also include some images. Research places and describe what they are like In this task consider Culture/traditions – e.g. food, festivals, traditional dress Tourist attractions Level of development Produce a factsheet for one Asian country that includes facts about the bullet points above. OR Make a travel guide for one Asian country so that a tourist could experience all of the bullet points above. Imagine you have been on holiday to an Asian country. Write a one week diary of all the experiences you had on your holiday (include experiences that cover the bullet points above. Suggest reasons why places are different Make a comparison table to show the difference between two Asian countries and use this to write at least three comparisons (use connective such as but, whereas, however between your descriptions). Explain the differences. OR For two Asian countries, make two top trump cards with at least 5 categories of information. Use these to write a detailed comparison of the two Asian countries. Explain the differences. Use the CIA fact book website to write a detailed comparison of two Asian countries (include facts and figures in your answer) and suggest reasons for the differences.
