Sign Up First screen, click on sign up, next screen Sign up, last one the Thank you. Please check your email.

Password Set Issue Some students have settings on their email preventing them from viewing the correct ‘set password’ link when creating their account. It will instead take them to the ‘Reset Password’ page. The easiest solution is to have the student email Admissions@ctcd.edu with their name and we will resend a different link that will allow the student to set their password.

Residency Information

Residency cont. THECB says if a stu rec’d in state tuition AT A TEXAS INSTITUTION, we honor in state tution, hence this Qs. If a stu is not a permanent resident, they do not enter a date. The red X is there because red X’s are next to all date fields.

Military Information If yes, click on the applicable choice. If no, then you will not get these Qs and can move on to the next section

Additional Info If no, the CELT Comprehensive English Language Test (CELT) (cois mandatory for the non-native English speaking students in order to determine the English language proficiency. Common Errors SSN in the incorrect format- must use the format described in the question (XXX-XX-XXXX). Phone Number in the wrong format- must be in the format described in the question (XXX-XXX-XXXX). Be sure to check the phone number in emergency contact area as well. Student thinks the red X next to DOB is an error when it is not.

Common Errors cont. Student missed a question within the application. If they check along the left side and see a yellow bubble- that section is not complete. Student forgot to hit submit, acknowledge the verification statement and electronically sign the application. It has not been submitted.

The Admissions Specialists work hard to review and verify all applications in a 24-48 hour time period. If any documentation is required to determine residency there will be a hold and a comment with requested documents in PERC.
