How do you apply to university...? 1 Apply through the University & Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) Online at www.UCAS.com 2 Apply a year before you want to start (usually in your second year) Deadline 15th January College will usually have an internal deadline (before Christmas holiday) Earlier deadline for Oxbridge and for Dentistry, Veterinary Science, Medicine 3 Choose up to five institutions and courses Pay app fee (£24) then use UCAS Track All full-time HE courses in UK Online application form – register at www.ucas.com Apply a year before you want to start the course (Yr 13) 3 and half months to apply.
