Drug Overdose Emergency Department Visit Summary

Drug Overdoses (Epicenter) The average number of drug overdose visits per month to the emergency department from is 202 in 2016, 193 in 2017, and 124 in 2018 (Jan. and Feb. only).

Drug Overdose Deaths Preliminary data suggests that there could be up to 13 drug overdose deaths in 2018 (1/1/2018 to 3/5/2018). The official count for total drug overdose deaths that occurred in 2017 in Summit County, as of 3/5/2018 is 224.
