What I learned in summer school End of session 2 in-class essay

Intro example Do students really learn anything in summer school? Mrs. Mackey’s student’s learned many things. Over the course of second session of English 9, I learned many things from Mrs. Mackey. We covered a range of topics from grammar to literary criticism to mythology. In the second session of English 9, I learned how to analyze a text using the Historical/Biographical approach, about the rhetorical appeals (ethos, logos, pathos), and what literary devices can be found in poetry.

Conclusion Restate thesis Summarize what learned Explain how you will do better in your English class in the fall, so you don’t have to do summer school again.
